Birthdays, Dogs, Cake and Sope's

Hi you!

So February 2009 is here and I first of all want to give a Birthday shout out to John! This year his birthday was low key (my fault). I promise to make it up to you... your birthday next year will be extra fun! I'm sooo sorry. We did have a nice lunch at Claim Jumper, and then on Wednesday met Ross and Shannon at Flemming's at Downtown LA Live. I recommend it! The steaks and sides are really good! Don't have any dinner pics (forgot my camera) but here are some pics of us on the ride back from Claimjumper's!

Had to turn off the flash so he can keep his eye's open!

A little bit of flash...

Full on Flash!!! (See what I mean?)

Also...another birthday shout out is to my sis Sandra! Every year my mom makes each one of us 'kids' our favorite food. I have to admit... I look forward to Sandra's bday as much as mine. Mom made Sopes. Now let me tell you... you might not have heard of them...and if you have, you might have had some good ones...but you've never had my mom's sopes. THE BEST BY FAR!!! Now I can only compare them to a few others...but trust me when I tell you...They're good!

John, Roxy, Jake and I met Sandra and the kids at my mom's for an early dinner. Really low key but very nice as well. It's funny...dogs are not normally let in my mom's house...but Roxy and Jake found their way in. Roxy takes over everything!

Add some cheese, sour cream and salsa!. Yummo! So healthy too ;)

Birthday Cake. Love Amy's Pastries in Montebello

I (heart) LONDON

I'm baaaaack!

OK... so lightning does strike twice.

About a year and a half ago... I got this cool opportunity to fly business class to London with the agency I work for (BCD Travel). I had a blast and found out that London is all that my new wave loving-travel seeking-atlas watching-childhood thought it would be.

Last week I got to go again...but this time with my office (CGC/BCD Travel). Pam, Alicia and John from my office flew to London courtesy of British Airways (THANKS Mana). Now the trip was a business trip so we had quite an itinerary but all that didn't matter cause I WAS IN LONDON!!!

We visted some properties...met some really nice people from the hotels, saw a Chelsea 'football' game, and experienced a few days of some chilly (but nice) weather.

I hope lightning will strike again (and again). I can't wait to go back.

Here are some pics of the trip.
